His passion for wood began as a child, growing up in Southeast Michigan. The forest was always a magical place that drums up fond memories. His grandfather was a woodworker and mentored him in the fine art of carpentry beginning from the age of 10. Joe has perfected his craft and is always expanding his knowledge of different types of wood and technics.
